From Thames start your journey with section B of the Hauraki Rail Trail. An easy and relaxed ride that takes you through lush farmland and over bridges before arriving in Paeroa.
Enjoy some time off the saddle and take a wander through the town, famous for being the birthplace of the beloved fizzy drink L&P. When in Paeroa, a photo in front of the big L&P sculpture is a must. Stop in at one of the local cafes for a coffee and a bite to eat(Voucher Included) before heading back on the trail.
From Paeroa you'll head to the spa town of Te Aroha. Take in the serene views of expansive landscapes of the Hauraki Plains and Kaimai Mountain range. Once in Te Aroha make your way to the Domain located at the base of Mount Te Aroha where you can enjoy a 45 minute soak in a private mineral pool.(Entry to spa and towel included) Afterwards you will be transported back to Thames.
