The Firth to Jungle Ride - 1 Day Tour
This tour takes you from the coastal town of Thames through rural farmland to the mighty Karangahake Gorge.
Venture from JollyBikes where you'll then make your way onto section B of the trail. Enjoy the easy ride through the lush plains of the Hauraki Region. 34km into your journey, you'll reach the town of Paeroa, where you can enjoy a late morning tea at one of the local cafes. (Voucher Included) After your refreshment break, you may like to explore some of the town's antique shops or check out the big L&P bottle.
From Paeroa, continue on to section C of the trail. In no time at all, you will reach the Karangahake Gorge, where we recommend a break from the saddle and enjoying the Windows walk, a 1-hour round trip through old mining ruins and tunnels.
Once you have finished your walk, hop back on the trail and head to the next stop at the Waikino cafe for a well deserved lunch(voucher included). You will then be transported back to Thames.
